Heather was born and raised right here in Round Rock, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Tech Health Science Center and graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing in 2003. She worked as a pediatric nurse at the original Children’s Hospital of Austin and then at Dell Children’s Medical Center until 2009. In 2009, she graduated with her Master’s degree in Nursing and obtained her certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the community health setting from 2009-2012. In 2012, she rejoined Dell Children’s Medical Center and worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner there. She joined Treehouse Pediatrics in the summer of 2016 and has been part of the Treehouse team since then.

Heather describes her career as more of a passion than a job. Healthcare is not something she sought out but something that found her. She truly enjoys caring for children and their families in the pediatric setting.

Heather enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 2 children as much as possible. They enjoy spending time as family at the lake, beach, and even just around the house. She enjoys reading, camping, traveling, cooking and baking.
