Lara grew up in Georgia where she attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). After her undergraduate studies, she and her husband, Phong, moved to Portland, Oregon where she began her career as a pediatric nurse. She has over seven years of pediatric nursing experience, specifically in the Pediatric Intensive Care unit and the Neonatal Intensive care unit.

More recently, she and her husband moved to the Austin area from Durham, North Carolina where she completed her master’s in nursing at Duke University.  She is a board certified PNP that has a passion for taking care of children and developing a partnership with families to help achieve the best healthcare for their kiddos.

Outside of work, Lara enjoys running, hiking with her husband, and a newfound love of pickleball.
