Dr. Blumer has been a board-certified pediatrician since 2021. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 2013, followed by his Medical Degree from the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in 2018. After completing his pediatric residency at the University of New Mexico in 2021, Dr. Blumer continued practicing in a busy pediatric outpatient clinic in Albuquerque. In 2024, he relocated to Austin with his wife as she pursued Fellowship training.

Dr. Blumer is passionate about helping families build healthy lifestyles and develop sustainable habits. He has a special interest in mental health and supporting children and adolescents as they grow and thrive.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Blumer loves all things wilderness—from hiking and rock climbing to canoeing, kayaking, scuba diving, and skiing. He draws inspiration from exploring the world, immersing himself in different cultures, and sampling global cuisines. Dr. Blumer is fluent in Spanish and currently learning Dutch, his wife’s native language.

He is thrilled to join the Treehouse Pediatrics team and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with families in the Austin community!
